Do you want to be a responsible voter, but are a bit baffled by what the information on your Georgia voter precinct card means? Did you ever say to yourself, why is this so confusing? I’m here to help.
There are two goals
- To teach you in 4 easy steps how to figure out which precinct you reside in.
- To teach you how to figure out who your elected officials are.
Why does it matter what is on the precinct card?
The #1 reason is that it shows which voting district you live in for each political office. The voting districts are different for each elected office and the card shows information about where you live. A vital step in holding elected officials accountable is knowing who they are.
After struggling with figuring this out for myself, I decided to do the research and share this valuable information.
